I don’t think he was ashamed to say it but why would he have to? It is common sense. If you look at the US court we take cases going far back as precedent, same with the English courts. The first 3 centuries set the precedent to deviate would say that the first 3 centuries were wrong and all of Islam is wrong as a result.

Why can’t he just explained them the reason why we, as muslims, must consider the 3 first centuries as sacred?? Was he ashamed to say that we take that from the Prophet in one of his many sayings about the 3 first centuries that would follow his death? Or didn’t he know it?? Apart from that I found him very nervous and not confident at all.

Hamza, thats one of the books by Dr. Jackson- “Islam and the Black American- A third resurrection” Its a really good book. He makes some interesting and thought provoking points.
