while learning arabic from books,cds, and videos i know what you mean by “them” enforcing dialect over the fusHa arabic. Unfortunately, you can come across arabs that will tell you to “give it up, arabic is too hard to learn. Its the hardest language in the world”…ye’ah, right. Its no harder than learning any other language you already don’t know how to speak.
