Halal Tube

Alhamdulillah! We have been really busy with our lives and the promised updates and new features will come in time, inshaAllah.

Updates to look forward to in 2008:

• New sections! Halal Tube will expand from lectures and branch off into new areas.
• Audios will be available for download.
• More speakers! More lectures!

In the mean time we request all our viewers to sign up and join the Sports Halaqah: the only Muslim forum dedicated to discussing sports. You know there isn’t anything forbidden in talking about sports. With all of the hundreds of online Muslim forums out there right now, Sports Halaqah provides a unique and totally different approach in establishing brotherhood and sisterhood.

This is good for dawah because it will connect Muslims with each other no matter how many times a day they pray or how long their beard is or if they observe hijab or not or their level of Islamic knowledge. They’ll be discussing which teams they support and why they think their team will be champions. Not only is it good for Muslim-to-Muslim community building but it is good for Muslim dawah to our non-Muslim brothers and sisters. It will show a completely new light of the online Muslim community. This will shock those who only want to hurt Islam. When they see Muslims talking about sports instead of jihad or war or politics, they’ll see that we’re normal people as well and not blood savaging animals.

So if you’re interested in any type of sports ranging from football or soccer, American football, basketball, baseball, hockey, cricket, tennis, boxing, cycling, and any other sport, sign up and join!
