I am sorry,I use to be a close friend of Sheikh B.Walid but later I found out that he contradicts what he says.He is very easy in accusing muslims for working for FBI or spies.He is knows for slanders against other muslims who don’t agree with what he says. I don’t know why he don’t implement what he says.
O you who believe! If a Fasiq (liar – evil person) comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done.

Brother, There is a great Hadith from Prophet Muhammad Peacce be upon him that we give benefit of doubt to the muslim brother, even if he seems to be doing all the irrelevant things. We dunno what the condition of the Sheikh is, and we dunno what is his real intention; if you were a real friend… you would not be defaming him here, but would make a sincere dua for him towards Allag SWT and give benefit of doubt to his actions…please remember this before you put anything against any muslim in the future insha Allah. May Allah keep us all in the straight path insha Allah.

I agree with umm_omar. I have personally benefited a lot from Shaykh Waleed. MashAllah he has a lot of knowledge and wisdom. I think we should remember to take the good from people and ignore the bad. May Allah SWT give him Jannah, and the best in this dunya and the next, and help him (and all of us) to stay away from what displeases Allah SWT.
