I think this is the best work done by Sheikh Anwar Al Awlaki and the people who bravely published it, may Allah bless them and us all with the best of this life and the hereafter.
This is the best guaidance to Jihad that I have ever heard and it did clear many misconceptions. It also explains why since we neglected our obligations to Allah, he has disgraced us at the hands of the most faithless.
May Allah increase our Iman, Aameen and may Allah establish a leader such as Sheikh Anwar Al Awlaki to lead the muslims to victory again, Aameen.
thanks god that we have scolars like anwar so we convert muslim could have the rigth guidence and the truth islam any time jihad rest the devil takes over like they did in spain went muslim stop jihad they took over now i took 800 years for me to find islam

This is the first time I have listened to a lecture on Jihad, and Imam Anwar Al Awlaki did a most excellent presentation here. Will there be an option in the future to maybe download some of the audio files, so we can listen to them on the way to school or work?

Every lecture given by Imam Anwar Al Awlaki has brought much needed knowledge to this Ummah. These lectures might distress some faint hearts but in Islam we do not pick and choose what we want to follow and reject/dismiss/cover-up/make excuses for things that we find hard to adhere to.
I love this man, if I had an opportunity to be with him and study from him I would do it in a heartbeat. May Allah guide and remove the cowardice from those people who give excuses regarding Jihad.
We should do our part in asking our friends and family to give an ear to lectures by Anwar Al-Awlaki. I agree, brother Anwar can be a great leader for Muslims.

Honestly, have you compared the “translation” he’s using to the Arabic text? Have you compared what is being preached in these lectures to what our books of fiqh say in their respective sections on jihad?
Mujahid, what are you trying to accomplish? why dont you have your own lecture and publish it on the internet so we can comment on it too..
My brother, Be thankful to Allah that some of your brother in Islam have done his part as a muslim scholar to give da’wa. This shiekh is a true mujahid for me..
I don’t think these lectures are appropriate (or safe) to have here. I have listened to them previously, and the content is quite shocking.
