Please do NOT post copyrighted lectures online, so that the producers of islamic lectures and OUR muslim scholars can generate living for their works and produce more such good works inshaAllah.

  3. a says:

I agree, but you cannot put a price on knowledge. As a student, I cannot afford to buy these lectures, and I live in a small community that does not offer such knowledge at the masjid.

It’s best to make du’a for the scholars and to ask Allah that He may give them health and means to continue with their efforts Insha’Allah.

    Dear Imam Awlaki,AAWW,

I am writing the following lines with a heavy heart but I believe that it is absolutely imperative that I put them in writing…
As a brother/sister made the above comment “…As a student, I cannot afford to buy these lectures, and I live in a small community that does not offer such knowledge at the masjid…”
I too, cannot afford to buy your copy-righted lectures due to shortage of funds. Hence, I am requesting to you that you allow me (via a written mail) and others sisters and brothers like myself to listen to them free of cost on-line, so on the day of Judgement when even one’s close family members would not be able to benefit a person and would behave selfishly with each other, I do not want you to have any financial claims towards me and towards others like me who listen and download your lectures for free.

I will be very grateful to you for such a written reply, which can officially exonerate me of any and all financial obligations, for my past & future down-loads of your lectures and also those that I recommended to others through e-mail or verbally; in the mean time, pls accept my profound gratitude for teaching me & my family (and others) about many do and donts as well as other intricacies and most valuable lessons about the deen of -AL-Islaam.

    Forever grateful

    your sister-in-Islam

    Rakshie Khan
