The Ark of Safety & Happiness

About this lecture

In this khutbah, the speaker draws on Surah Al-Haqqah to ground believers amid the anxieties of a global pandemic, political uncertainty, and worldwide oppression, reminding them that Allah's power and protection have always surpassed every worldly trial. Through reflections on the destroyed nations of 'Aad and Thamud, the story of Fir'aun, and most centrally the Ark of Prophet Nuh, the lecture calls Muslims to strengthen their tawakkul in Allah, increase their worship, and reflect seriously on the lasting traces they are leaving behind. Listeners are encouraged to move beyond temporary inspiration and make a sincere, lasting intention to draw closer to Allah and benefit those around them.
