  1. Mary says:

Catholic Bible Book of Numbers Chapter 23 verse 19 was misquoted in the beginning of this video the correct line is thus: “G_d is not man that he should speak falsely, nor human, that he should change his mind. Is he one to speak and not act, to decree and not fulfill”

The verse has nothing in it about the Son of Man as Yusuf Estes would have one believe. Should make you wonder.

    Hi Mary,
There are 24000 different versions of the bible. Which one are you quoting?

Please remember that brother Yusuf was a minister of the church and his father a priest. I guess you should stop wondering 馃檪

    Hi Mary,

In many versions such as the King James Version, it quotes: “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

The King James Version, the Douay Rhimes Catholic Bible, and Septuagint LXX have pretty much the same interpretation (though the text is a bit different.

    Peace.

    Hi Mary

Here are a few quote I can find to Numbers Chapter 23 verse 19:

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

    Numbers 23:19 (New International Version)

19 God is not a man, that he should lie,
nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?

And there is more so yeah I don’t know where you are getting your facts from.

    Hope that helps.

English = “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”

The original Hebrew overides the Catholic version. 馃槈

Mary, the Bible verse quoted by Shayk Yusuf, refers to God not being human or the son of man. Son of man is simply another way of saying not human.

    Hope that helps.

  6. Jerry says:

Oh forgot to mention the original Hebrew says ” ‘el(God)’iysh(is not a man) kazab(that he should lie;) ben(neither the son) ‘adam(of man/of adam),nacham(that he should repent:)”…thats just the first part of it.
