We want you to submit by any means necessary (written, audio, video, etc.) how Halal Tube has benefited you, your lifestyle, your iman, your knowledge of the deen and anything else. The site is excellent. It’s a wonder someone didn’t come up with the idea sooner. As mentioned previously, downloading would be a nice plus, but for anyone looking to convert Youtube videos and the like, http://vixy.net/ should work.
The clean layout is one of the strong points and makes it easy to use. I did notice an ad though that said “Was Muhammad a Fraud?”
yes lectures should be made available in mp3 format (i can listen to them from work) but those of us who r in school then it can be difficult to sit in front of comp and listen to them..

It is though a little pity that we can not have them downloaded in MP3 format. But the media played is just great for those of us who got PC.

Masha’Allah the website is great, it helped alot during Ramadan. One thing I loved about what you did in Ramadan was that you grouped all the Ramadan lectures together. Would it be possible to organize lectures based on topic? The Ramadan one was very helpful. For example, Salah, khushoo3, marriage, character…that kinda stuff…

Mariam - The Halal Tube search engine at the top right is excellent for searching for topics. Just type in salah or prayer or aqeedah or iman or beliefs or anything that is related to the topic of interest and some lectures should come up. I agree with you though, Halal Tube should categorize the lectures by topic, which would be interesting to see how they do it.
moneysworthless - Please let us know of any bad advertisements so we can block them permanently from Halal Tube.
Halaltube has opened my eyes to Islamic media. My deen, lifestyle, and knowledge of Islam has increased tenfold since listening to halaltube. I go directly to halaltube before youtube and google videos now.

AlhumduliLlah, HalalTube has definitely made an impact in my life. I’ve learned a lot from the lectures (in particular the lectures by Shaykh Khalid, masha’Allah), and of course reminders are always of benefit.
This is the only site I use now to listen to lectures. Everything is very well organized, and there is a wonderful variety of speakers and topics, masha’Allah.

I was never a youtube fan and I don’t have time to look up lectures online. I did finally attend ISNA this year and my mom and me bought a carry on filled with lectures by various scholars… all amazing mashaAllah! There were some that I couldn’t buy and I was sad, but guess what?!?! They’re all on halaltube!
I checked out this site a few days before Ramadan after receiving a facebook message from my dear friend at stonybrook…may Allah reward him for sharing this helpful site! There was a list of posts about Ramadan…and how to prepare for Ramadan, how to make the best out of Ramadan…
And now …while I’m at work I just listen to halaltube all throughout the day! Alhamdulilah, I’ve learned so much and there is so much more to learn… endless cycle, from the cradle to the grave.

As a Christian HalalTube has allowed me to better understand Muslim apologetic arguements. However, I’m still a bit lost when it comes to elemenary Islamic doctrine, is there a good series of lectures introducing Islam for the outsider?

for firefox users: i found an add-on from firefox that enables you to download files such as the ones from youtube, google and also mp3 files. hope its useful. it’s called “Video DownloadHelper”

Assalamalikum… After moving from America to Pakistan… my lack of urdu vocabulary has limited my understanding of many of the lectures here… Halal tube has reconnected me with the intellecual and spiritual knowledge of many scholars. all i have to say is mashALLAH. b4 whenever i wanted to listen to a good lecture i had to search the internet for hours and hours, but since i discovered HALALTUBE, it has totally made life much easier. the greatest lectures by the coolest speakers, all on one site. subhanALLAH…in my opinion the best way to improve on the site would be to add a download feauture.

JazakAllah khair for your comments! We really appreciate it! We are working slowly to allow users to download the audio lectures. The video lectures aren’t technically downloadable since they are hosted by YouTube, Google, Yahoo, etc. But their are various online software and plugin for browsers which enables people to download the videos from those sites and others.

may allah bless you all for your work. iam afraid to say that iam a little bit concerned about the advertisement on this website. one one hand you are trying to spread knowledge and the diin of allah and one the other side you are spreading the darkness and lies of some websides wich are popping up on googles adsens on the left side of the content. What about the black banner with the title “Religion runs amok” Are you really in need to promote things like that? i guess the income of google adsens is not worth that and otherwise you dont have the control of what is shown as advertise on adsense. so i will give you the advice to get rid of that and tawakkul al allah.

As a 12month old revert, who has only recently ( in the last 3 weeks) learnt of this website- and its transformed my life. Iv learnt alot the past 12 months reading many books, but this website has given me the opportunity to listen to some scholars as though I had been able to be present in the lecture. Thank You so much to everyone for posting the lectures… reading books has been awesome, however listening to people in the flesh and hearing voices talk about Islam has been such a blessing… you can hear the emotion and the passion… may you all be blessed

halaltube is extremely helpful. Straight after checkin my emails, you’ll see me browsing through halaltube, not youtube any more, lol. That’s good enough news that shows that halaltube is doing extremeley well, mashallah. I know you guys are doing so much work as it is,,,but can you please add Nouman Ali Khan’s remaining episodes??? Would really appreciate it. Haven’t actually heard of him before I got on to halaltube!! I guess halaltube is also becoming a new platform that makes scholars more well-known, alhamdulillah.
another reason why I like halaltube (one of the main ones really) is that it adds ALL scholars regardless of what their ways of thinking are as I beleive we can benefit from ALL inshallah. No ones being excluded or favouritised, alhamd.

I just found out about HalalTube last week and I LOOOOOVE IIIIIIT!:) It’s easy to use, offers a wealth of knowledge to seekers out there in “cyberspace”, and the speakers featured are so diverse, so you can get views and inspirational knowledge from many perspectives, masha’Allah. And it’s all right there for me, all the speakers…not like just wasting time browsing thru youtube to find something beneficial (and wasting most of my time with dumb videos:P). I have been sharing this site with all my friends in the community here in Colorado!

I am often (almost everyday) listening to the lectures at work and have learned so much from doing so. This website site is excellent to avoid fitna and to have ma’shaallh the right knowledge we seek from visiting these websites without having to see something against our beliefs or stumble against stuff like that.
