    Assalamu alaikum.
At the beginning of the talk, the Shaikh mentions that Prophet SA is seeing us and he should be at the center of our lives. I think these words are reserved only for Allah SWT and we should avoid such words (out of our love of Prophet SA) since they may end up in unintentional SHIRK (polytheism). May Allah SWT guide us all. Ameen.

  3. Please listen at 5:46 onwards. Shaykh mentions that anything that ascends to or descends from Allahs swt happens to go through Prophet Muhammad PBUH. IMHO, this doesn’t make sense. Everyone of us has a direct relationship with Allah swt, wallahu alam.

  4. Madani says:

May Allah guide you people who label everything as shirk. You people are known as “Gustahe rasool” you will only find out the loss of your filthy beliefs on the day of judgement. How do you think you will get intercession when you diminish the qualities of rasoolullah (saw)? Take heed and stop blaming the shaykh who happens to be a great scholar of this era and you on the other hand have no knowledge so why don’t you just stay silent instead of pointing your filthy fingers at the learned people.

  5. Dear Madani:

While you may be correct, I think you could have stated your position with greater tact than you displayed in your post. Why such an angry and hostile post?

  6. Abdullah ibn Ahsan says:

For those that don’t know Muhammad al-Yaqoubi is a direct descendant of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and this is well known throughout the world. Also his isnad or line of ijaza (chain of transmission from teacher to student, teacher to student going all the way back to the Prophet peace be up him himself) is re-guarded as the strongest chain of any person in the world. Scholars from all over the world travel to sit at his feet and learn and to obtain his ijaza. Admittedly he is not a native born English speaker but to learn from him is to learn from the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him)…..too few understand the deen properly in the world today and too many spread false ideas with tricky false arguments. Just as an example…in the salat everyone says the Tashahud in which they say As-salamu ALAYKA ayyuhan-nabiyyu wa Rahma-tillahi wa barakatuhu….which means peace be upon YOU oh Prophet and the mercy and blessings of Allah…and yet those without knowledge say it in their salat and then say that the Prophet cannot hear them because he is dead….alayka in Arabic means “you” and every Muslim has been saying it for over 1400 years.
