Masha’Allah, this lecture really made me think about my own position in this life and the akhira. I made immediate changes to my daily life afterwards and eliminated the wishful thinking that I myself had.

i always wanted to compile all the conversation the akhira in the quran. are there any books on this topic?

There are numerous books in English (the language I study in) about Heaven and Hell written by Islamic authors. You may log into http://www.IslamicBooks.com or search for “soundvision” an Islamic books and video online supplier and various other ONLINE sources/Google it. The Western Universities, book stores and libraries “tent” to NOT to carry anything that promote “Solid” understandings of the Qur’an.
On another note, I am hearing INCREASINGLY about an edition of the Qur’an published by some very rich US/UK Christians and being distributed in the MidEast, Iraq, Afghanistan in the millions just THIS Ramadan in 2008. Has any of the Muslim scholars and Al Azhar “aware” of these polluted versions. I was informed that these Qur’ans were “slightly” changed- for example they “discourage” Jihad and encourage “christian LOVE THY NEIGHBOR” hypocrisy which they do not follow them self but want the “cattle” nations to follow.
Please, search and destroy. That is Jihad for the peace of humans.

Sister Fatima - there are free programs which allow you to download these videos to your hard drive. I think there is 1 by a company called Pazera which I have used before and is free and very good.
