Hi i was just wondering if we could download this lecture or any others so i can burn it to dvd and show my family in ramadan. I think its really interesting and the reason i want to is because there are not very many lectures in english on TV and this would be a great islamic discussion.
I wish you all a happy and blessed ramadan!

JazzakAllah, I am glad this issue is gaining more and more attention. Is this “rant” available in mp3 format anywhere?

Subhan Allah very well said. This is something that has been on my mind for very long but Brother Nouman Ali Khan has articulated it so well and i think that the q&a session was equally beneficial. may Allah SWT grant Jaza-e-khair to all those involved. Amin

Nouman,
When did you give this talk? A great organization that addresses these problems ISSA (Islamic Social Services Association). Islamic institutes need to work with these experts. They are doing phenomenal work. Especially work on Muslim Identity in America.

this is profoundly relevant in scope and compassionate in its view of the youth. beautifully articulated — Allah preserve the speaker. On a side note, the asides as to who to treat parents were wonderful.

MashAllah this lecture is one of the best I have heard in a long time. I loved the brother’s point about young Muslims emotional rhetoric. SubhanAllah this is something that many of the shiekhs don’t focus enough on and that’s the manners of a practicing Muslim. Everyone has read some of the hateful comments towards knowledgeable speakers just because some one has a difference of opinion, they basically label the person a sell out or worse a kafir. And they quote one aya from the Quran that heard from an internet lecture and they quote it when ever they disagree with a fellow Muslim. Ignoring all other shiekhs and scholars Tafsir on the aya and the historical context in which it was revealed. Just because one attains knowledge doesn’t mean they have wisdom. May Allah guide us all to practice Islam in a way that pleases him and forgive us of our faults and I am one with the most faults.

Assalaamu Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
First, may Allah bless Brother Nouman, I had real good time with him when he came to Atlanta for his Divine Speech Seminar. Youth love him so much – because he connects very well.
Second, to burn this DVD, there should be many ways, I try this:
Install Real Player 11. Run this video and once it starts, right click on it to download using real player. Convert the downloaded video to DVD using Any Video Converter.
Hope this helps. JazakAllah Khair.
