    Masha Allah very beautiful lecture.

    But Shaykh Yasir did not mention one important point. When you make dua for something you must also try in your capacity to get that thing.

    For example if you want a job or you want to get married you can make dua but you must also try. Similarly we want the Khliafah, we have to make dua and we have to do our part.

    I always get soo lazy when doing dua …as if how can I ask Allah(swt) more when He is always giving me so much and my thanks is not worthy of what He does for me…

    So Alhadmdulilah this very much filled the doubts of making dua…JazakAllah khair

    and its my sincere dua that May Allah Swt raise Sh Yasir Qadhi and all the shuyukhs (who make the knowledge they gathered seem soo easy and we cannot see the amount of effort they put into it)without any reckoning and directly to Jannah…May Our Blessed Prophet(saw) be the first to greet them all…ameen

    Jazak allah… very helpful lecture. Is it permissible to make dua for your spouse so that Allah guides him/her to the right path and forgive the sins? Please advise.
