Ya Allah (Subhanaah wa ta’ a’l’) I submit to you fully and seek your blessing and and I supplicate to You and offer dua’s for the Prophet on Laylat al-Qadr
We know that the Quran was first revealed in the blessed month of Ramadan. Allah further tells us that the night is the night of Majesty.Qadr in its true Arabic meaning does not mean “destiny.” Has not man been given Free-will? Yes We are in the Hands of Allah and Allah Knows All. But we are free to choose, to do right or wrong, its our actions that dictate the outcome. To believe in a pre-written destiny is a very fatalistic attitude. The verses of Surah Al-Qadr are stating that One Night of Pure Enlightenment is far better than 1000’s of nights of ignorance. The Quran, sent down by Allah as a Blessing and a Mercy to the whole of mankind is Al-Nur, The Light that takes us out from darkness. The Final Book of Allah is meant to be read and put into practice, it will then by the Grace of Allah elevate every person to a level that enriches not only his life but the life of everyone around him. In this way things like poverty and ignorance and starvation are wiped off the face of the Earth.
Allah, we ask that you keep us on the Path of Islam and make us all better human beings. Also make us of those who hold on tight to Your Rope, Al-Quran.
